JOHN A. LASNIER, class of 1979, a resident of North Falmouth for the past 10 years, died unexpectedly at home on March 30, 2008. Mr. Lasnier was 50 years old. He was the husband of Sharon A. (Castonguay) Lasnier.
Born in Bristol, CT, he was the son of John L. and Lorraine (Lawson) Lasnier of Bristol. He worked for Northeast Marine Pilots of Newport, CT. He moved to North Falmouth 10 years ago.
Mr. Lasnier was a member of the Boston Marine Society and the American Legion. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves two sons, Steve J. Lasnier of Kingston and John L. Lasnier of North Falmouth; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Lasnier of Eagle River, AR, and Mary-Therese Z. Lasnier of North Falmouth; and a sister, Debra Elliott of Providence, RI.
