John Ingraham, class of 1`952 reports the passing of
MARVIN KUHN, class of 1952 on April 6, 2008. Marvin was a World War II veteran, He was one of the older members of the class and served as Battalion Aide for the two years that the class served as first class.
Marv worked in New York for a few years but then forswore fame and fortune and moved to the Far End of Long Island to follow his passion for classic wooden boats and boatyards. He was a land surveyor and also an artist doing the editorial cartoons for The East Hampton Star newspaper where he later became their art director. He also had a passion for birds and did bird illustrations for several books.
Marv marched to a different drummer than most graduates and unfortunately, his final years were stolen by Alzheimer's disease.
