It is with regret that we learn of the passing of
DONALD KENYON of the class of 1952 in Novato, CA on June 17, 2010 at age 82. A native of Mt. Kisko, NY, following graduation, Don sailed at sea for 3½ years with Farrell Lines before coming ashore to several positions in the marine insurance industry. He was with the Hartford Fire & Marine Insurance Co. for over 40 years, ending as their marine claims manager for the West Coast.
The youngest of four brothers, two of which were lost in WWII and the third serving in the army but restricted from combat due to the loss of two older brothers. The oldest brother was a torpedo bomber pilot who was lost at the Battle of Midway Island, a turning point in the war, and was posthumously awarded the Silver Star medal. The next oldest brother was killed while parachuting into France following D-day.
Don is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Marge, sons Donald C. and Mark and daughter Marjean and four grandchildren, all of Novato, CA.
