JOHN R. CITO JR. class of 1985, passed away on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born April 17, 1963 in Sleepy Hollow, NY ,and grew up in Buchanan, NY. He was the beloved son of John R. and Joan(Castriana) Cito Sr.of Cortlandt Manor. He was married to Lauren Bigg Cito who survives at home, one daughter Allison Biasotti at home and one son Ryan Biasotti at home. Siblings: James Cito (Sharlene) and Jeffrey all of Wappingers Falls. Brother in laws: Michael Bigg Jr.(Michele), John Bigg (Diane), Steven Bigg (Candace). Sister in laws: Regina Mariotti (Joe Big), Jomarie Rivers (John) 11 neices and nephews, and his two golden retrievers Chase and Ella.
John was a 1981 graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School and a 1985 graduate of SUNY Maritime at Fort Schuyler and received his MBA from NYIT. He was employed as an Information Technology manager by United Parcel Service in Mahwah, NJ, and an adjunct professor at NYIT. He was a former member of the St Thomas of Canterbury school board and former Athletic director at St Thomas of Canterbury School. John was the most unselfish person and his character was exemplary. He adored his wife and children and will be sadly missed.
