FRED DOLL, class of 1979 died suddenly on Tuesday, October 25 of a heart attack at the age of 54. He graduated the State University of New York Maritime College with a degree in Marine Transportation before sailing for what would later be renamed SeaRiver Maritime.
Doll, formerly a board member of UK brokerage Clarksons, is survived by a wife and adult son, according to media reports. The industry veteran opened his consultancy in November 1999 following a three-year run with the worlds largest shipbroker and a tour of duty with Exxon.
