I have the sad duty to inform you of the death of my father-in-law, Ralph Fred Mertz, Class of '47 at SUNY Maritime College. He died on Feb. 10, 2013.
We notified the classmates we had email addresses for at the time, but we just received the latest Navigator today. We'd appreciate your including a notice in the Alumni Notes.
I think it also is time to request that Ralph's name be removed from the mailing list. The address is 1400 Skrivanek Ct., College Station, TX 77840-3060.
