It is with regret that we report the passing of Paul E. Delahunty '52 on June 15th 2016 at his home in Plano, TX. Following graduation in 1952, Paul sailed briefly with Moore-McCormack Lines prior to serving two years of active duty with the Navy as the Engineering Officer on the PC 850 operating out of New London, CT After his naval duty, Paul joined Caltex Petroleum Co.and spent the next 32 years in Southeast Asia in managerial positions in several countries. After retirement from Caltex in 1988, Paul took a position with Bahrain National Oil Company spending six years in the Middle East before final retirement. Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Diane, a daughter Lori, sons Edward, Paul and Sean and seven grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on July 16th at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, TX with burial, with honors, at the national cemetery at Grand View, TX. The family asks that any contributions in his name be made to the America Cancer Society in the hope that they will soon discover an early detection of pancreatic cancer.
