Raymond K. Lamont (Class of 1978) died March 25, 2005, at home. He was born in Flushing, New York to the late Francis and Mary (Thomashunis). After graduating the Maritime College engineering program, a lengthy career as an Engineer at Pratt & Whitney followed, where Ray worked for 23 years. Ray enjoyed history, fishing, traveling, cooking, skiing, and landscaping. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Shea) Lamont, daughter Elizabeth, a sister, Jane Heuremann and children, Peter and Sarah, a sister, Karen Dorso and husband Charles of Franklin Park, New Jersey, as well as other special family members and friends.
