EDWIN O MAURER , passed away on May 14, 2005 as a result of severe head trauma sustained after experiencing a fall two weeks prior in his home in Brea California. His son Rodger informs us that burial services were held at sea on Saturday, June 5 at 11:35 a.m. off the coast of Southern California (33º 42 33N, 118º 08 23W), the same location where his wifes ashes were spread in October 2001.

I regret to inform you that my father Edwin Otto Maurer, passed away on May 14th of this year based on severe head trauma sustained after experiencing a fall two weeks prior in his home in Brea California.
Burial services were held at sea on Saturday June 5 at 11:35 AM off shore southern California (33º 42 33N, 118º 08 23W) at the same location where my mothers ashes were spread in October 2001 three years ago. Dad was 79 ½ years young at the time.
Dad was not a strong proponent of the Internet and computers as a technology. After providing a computer for him and an email account several years ago, I do recall seeing email messages in his mailbox from you on many occasions while visiting him at home.
I also know that he had strong ties to the class of 46. Although he may not have attended reunions, his files contain a great deal of correspondence and memorabilia from that time in his life.
